Thanks for a very clear explanation, although my question was more rhetorical, I appreciate your excellent and well thought through response, thanks... now, why wouldn't Romney be "trusted by the evangelical community," is this just a religious issue? Would that make any real difference in terms of political views and/or presiding over a nation?

I remember reading back during the early primaries that some evangelicals had a problem with his Morman faith. That was a long time ago, but he did have to make a speech about it to try and settle things down. it was analogized to the speech about being Catholic that Kennedy made back in 1960.

I suppose other posters who are evangelical christians could better explain if there was an issue at all.
