Consumer Reports said roughly the same things about the Smart in their review. Not remotely as good as the Honda Fit.

My uncle has one, and the car is a real 'beercan' in my opinion. It doesn't even get mileage as high as it should in real driving conditions because you have to thrash the hell out of that small motor to get going. As others have said, the Honda Fit for a bit more money is a WAY better car... Regards, John
