I agree, for $1M+, the Veyron should be a better looking car. The Germans aren't very good with the outside of cars (has there ever been a hot looking German car? BMW M1 designed by Lambo?). That should be left to the Italians, and VW should have contracted with PinanFarina for the Veyron design. However, the Germans are excellent with the insides of cars other than the PhD required for the gadgets. They need help with user-interface design.

A student of mine said that it cost 25k to fix a tire. I didn't believe her, but I guess she's right. From what I understood, if there is a problem with the Veyron, they fly a certified mechanic to the car.
