You're just wrong Ted. I bought my house in S. Cal. for less than 2x my annual salary. Admittedly, RE was in a slump at the time.

The only way people were able to sell any houses in CA at the crazy prices were with crazy mortgage types and no money down, neither of which exist any more.

Prices will continue to drop. We're in a long and continuing recession!

I suspect TH is a very wealthy guy. He wants to move to Malibu. Ten's choice of when to buy was unfortunate for him.
