I wonder if the GBs* put all their eggs in Madoff's basket or they diversified. I read of a philantropic organization that is just closing down because all their money made off to heaven courtesy of Madoff. *GBs Greedy Bastards

I second that. But I don't believe that at least some of these so called big shots never got an answer from Madoff as to how he makes this kind of money. I am sure several of them were well aware that he is doing something not correct and they went along with him as long as he makes large returns without any sweat. Some also suspected he is front running Nasdaq as his firm is the third or 4th largest market maker and trades from Fidelity and Schweb etc. go through his system. So my guess is most of these people were happy as long as he swindles the market and makes a hugh return. It is a poetic justis to and a reflection of what really is going on in this mostly manipulated markets. It is rotten to core! Madoff is my hero. A dimwhitted lifeguard who stuck it to a bunch of rich, greedy bastards.
