It's even worse now that Wall Street has received these enormous bailouts. The governor for this kind of behavior is RISK. Since there is so much reward and so much perceived risk they will do it again. How can we pump $8.5 trillion or so into this economy using funny money and not be building yet another unsustainable bubble? It isn't as if this money is going to build factories or educate people or invest in small businesses. This money is being sat upon and we are paying interest for the privilege of giving corporations our money to sit on. It's INSANE.
