KT,

What the Fed is saying and doing is almost certainly bad for the USD. Gold has been strong again lately and the dollar was weak almost across the board today last I looked. Against the Yen, it has been weak for awhile. This is the last desperate attempt of a bunch of insane economically brain dead lunatics to reflate the mess they created over the last 20 years. IMHO, it will eventually work, but we all be a lot poorer as a result of negative real interest rates on savings (a direct wealth transfer from us to banks) and a lower US Dollar. THey should all be strung up. At a minimum, I should get to throw my shoes at them. ;-)
