My little girl is asleep on her bed behind me as I type. I will never let her suffer because she's been such a good companion. Oh........sometimes I think it's such a hassle...like when I have to clean out her ears because of the allergies. Or like last night when we (hubby and I) clipped her toenails a bit because they were getting too long, and we had to do it in the family room because it's like 10 degrees outside and she lost control of her bladder a bit because getting her nails clipped is so frightening. She thinks we're going to cut the quick......which we've done before. It wasn't bad, and we have hardwood, so it cleaned up fine, but that's the first time she's ever done that. She's 5 1/2 so it's not like she's old, but you know......she's starting to act old. Unless we get her in a field with a good ball and the tosser. Then she's like a puppy.
