You definitely have to buy low sodium soups for cooking.

I was training my husband in how to make risotto.

I told him to buy fat free chicken broth.

He came back with the store brand instead of Swanson's, which is low sodium.

We made the risotto, but I could tell it was way too salty.
Now I give him brand names when he shops<g>

I didn't eat added salt for years and am now quite sensitive to it. I always buy low sodium.
