Isn't that an argument for shorting bonds when interest rates are almost negligible? Like now?

I am not doing it, and have not even bought any TBT yet.

My experience with various kinds of bear funds now runs to nearly ten years, and none of them have ever done quite what I hoped. Prudent Bear did very well for a while, but then old Greenpants got out his bubble machine.

I used to share the admiration for how Alan G. pulled the markets out the 1987 crash, but now I think he should have let that run its course.
