Any of you more knowledgeable folks know anything about these companies or individuals?

I know they won't be doing any programed insider selling anytime soon like the people they replaced... :-) Hopefully quite the opposite.

No evil eye.

I suppose TeraStor and Ancor could develop their own SAN. Food for thought and speculation.

<< Near-field recording, a technology being pioneered by San Jose, Calif.-based TeraStor Corp. (see 03.17.97, Page 4), uses drives with 20-Gbyte capacity per surface in 5.25-inch form. It is due by early 1998. TeraStor Chief Operating Officer Amyl Ahola said the company will use existing hard drive and MO technologies to make "bigger, faster and cheaper" devices of the removable and fixed varieties. Ahola said TeraStor will build Ultra SCSI-3, Fibre Channel and IEEE 1394 - also called FireWire - versions of the drives and is seeking licensees for technologies.>>
