I dunno what the ads were like in California, but I don't associate Prop. 8 with Palin, although it would be easy to guess what her stance is. Or the Pentecost for that matter. Now, it might be that it turns out to be some crazed homosexual, totally bereft over the results of Prop. 8. However, the available evidence does not lean that way. Accelerant was pored all around the outside of the building. And it was at night. So the fact there were people inside was likely clear, lights were on. Fire fighters arrived at the scene around 9:40. It has been noted that is extremely early, usually such things happen much later. Reduces the chances of being caught. Granted, in Alaska in November night walks are probably pretty rare, but people driving from point A to point B probably isn't. Now personally, I would think anyone who wanted to make a political statement would have probably just lobbed a Molotov cocktail at the building. After all, a small fire says about the same thing as a larger one. Besides, it would reduce the chances of being caught. But whoever did that wanted the building destroyed. Or possibly one or more of the people in there was the real target. After all, Wasilla is well known as the crystal meth capital of Alaska. And it isn't just meth, Levi's mother got nailed for oxycontin. Probably distribution by the way it was handled. It is looking like the holy rollers of Wasilla are full of more than just the Holy Spirit...
