I knew I liked you for some reason .. :) We just carved up a Vac Packed Full Primal of Beef Loin from Sams ourselves. I think they private label Excel or Monfort. But you're right it's Good. Since it was close to Zero outside I opted to Sear is in a Smokin Hot Fry Pan .. then put it in the oven @ 350* for a few minutes. Served Rare like a tenderloin with Bernaise Sauce. Anything with Tarragon is my weakness. And Anne stumbled on a Frozen pkg of Artichoke Hearts. Talk about piggin out on artichokes. This pkg was like 1.99 and 1 lb. Where have those been all my life ?? lol

I use a Southern Comfort BBQ Rub alot on the grill. But tonite we're having the leftovers of a Paul Prudhomme Ridge Creek Honey & Brown Sugar Glazed Ham that I cooked Sunday. The glaze didn't have any of that Clove stuff in it.

Yeah .. No well done for me either .. I was Crushed .. In Omaha for a few weeks .. and couldn't get a Steak. Had to refuse the Well Done Rawhide Slabs of Jerky. lol

Damn .. now I'm hungry .. ;)

I think I'll do another one of these for the Holidays. It was really good. Exceptional actually.
