Nobody uses PDAs, blackberry's are big with the over 50 set ;-)
but I've not heard any legends in their own minds type of management or high level engineer refer to their phone as a PDA..

Why wouldn't it? You seem to be claiming that the exact nature of the implementation would affect the performance. Now, I will grant you that changing the screen size can make a big difference, but there is no reason to suspect that the graphics engines are weaker than what Intel is using. The software stack is going to be similar, if not identical to the smartphones using Linux.
