So, why is TOYOTA laying people off?

They have become Americanized? LOL Where are the low prices that recession brings? I see gas dropping but the car sales seem puny on TV. Hardly any rebates, just claims that prices are dropping. For that matter what about other products? Why won't my beer go down in price?

You've really given up having a serious discussion, haven't you? Too hard to contend with all the facts that disagee with your thesis? I understand.

> The worst U.S. auto market since the early 1990s may force Toyota Motor Corp. to do something that was once unthinkable: cut its North American payroll.

This makes no sense.

It is GM, DCX and F management that doesn't know what its doing according to you and Randi Rhodes! Why would Toyota be laying anyone off? CJ has told us Toyota's management is sheer genius. Al tells us GM is horribly mismanaged is the reason they're in the shitter.

So, why is TOYOTA laying people off?
