If someone -- you, someone else, it doesn't matter -- has the ability to control the extent to which religion plays a role in Americans' lives, then Iran is precisely what you have.

Is that not the country christians would have for all of us? Prayer in school, ten commandments in places of government, creation in school curricula, God on coins, and so on...what do you have against checks and balances?

Al

am just very tired of religion playing such a big role in American lives. I want a secular country, not one like Iran.

Who the fuck are you to tell someone else how much of a role religion is to play in their lives? It is none of your business.

Cute. I could care less how many times Ten goes to church during the week. But you damn well that's not the issue. Your comrades want everyone to be has hypocritically religious as they are. And that's where the problem lies.

The very foundation of this country -- its reason for existence -- is to allow individuals to choose how much religion, if any, they want in their lives. These are the protections our Constitution provides. If you don't like it, you're definitely in the wrong country.

Good. Its too bad righties don't really get that concept.
