So queen, you are not going to apologize for lying about what I have "called" brinker? Figures! It takes some class to apologize when one "mistakenly" puts words in someone's mouth. How about you refrain from doing it again, unless you are ready for a dose of your own medicine.

And as for baloney, yours is rotten to the core because of your selective outrage. You think it was just grand for Brinker to never use the man's name, but to just label him "The Mad Dog." One has to wonder how much money Madoff cost Brinker....

But in spite of Madoff's snake oil, I think Brinker shows an astonishing lack of professionalism for a man who bills himself as "America's Most Trusted Financial Advisor." I ROFL at those words every time I hear them. Only the ignorant, the illiterate or the handicapped still trust the man.

Actually, FWIW, my feeling about Brinker is close to being a combination of dija's and math's. Like math, I'm disappointed that Brinker missed the bear, and I think that's the important point, because catching the bear is what he's supposed to do. I'm sure many people are similarly disappointed. But since I didn't follow Brinker exclusively, (and I've said that before, so it should come as a surprise to no one) it's just not fair for me to blame Brinker or anyone else. And as dija says, no one else predicted it either. I'm thinking that almost anyone who was invested at all has lost money. And anyone who's looking for Brinker to call a sell-out point should not hold their breath because, right or wrong, he never sells to a down market.

Yes, I'm disappointed. But anyone who wants to totally blame Brinker for all their problems is blowing the usual smoke.

Are you a hypocrite, forgetful or just plain lying?

You wrote

"I personally don't care for Brinker or anyone calling anyone names, but if anyone deserves it, it's Madoff."

Then minutes later you posted

"Catch on" to exactly WHAT, hon?

Are you too stupid to understand calling Honeybee "hon" and not using capital letters is calling her a name or making fun of her name?

Given you told us how smart you are and especially how good you are with language, I think you are both behind door #1 and door #3 above which makes you a lying hypocrite. Then again, maybe you will entertain us with a fresh excuse why this is not the case.

And some wonder why we think this place is so entertaining! Ha!
