It does work for autos for me. I have advocated a gov't-funded prepack BK for GM and Chrysler all along. Or sell them off piecemeal to the foreign automakers who want to produce in the US and know how to do it better. Scrap the old labor contracts, keep the jobs that make economic sense and go from there. We'll find a way to make HUMV's for our military as much as we need to, even without the current Detroit setup.
