Agreed! and at the time, the subsequent "discoveries" by Lac on strike to the west and the JV of Golden Sceptre and goliath down dip to the north did not create much excitement.

What was surprising was being able to finance the first 76 holes. Most juniors would have given up and walked much earlier.

You need 200 holes to prove a gold mine to the public. And the public is replete with knowledgable skeptics. This works to the benefit of those who wait with money, and hardly ever to those who wait with property.
