The point is, however, if other countries intend to focus on going "fossil free", then we'll be on a more even playing field.

So would you be happy if we matched what the Euro countries are doing? Or do we have to be absolutely the last country to start working towards alt energy?

so your strategy is to wait for other countries to do it before we do it? That's a strategy for failure, if I've every heard one. The successful people, companies, and countries are the ones who blaze their own trails, change the rules of the game, and make others play by their rules. It's clear that a good many people in this country have forgotten that.

Alternative energy isn't just for environmentalists. It could be the greatest wealth creator since the Internet for this country. We just have to work at it.
