Honestly....there were some VERY powerful families that kept that franchise alive in the 40's that wanted his head as well as some of the executive committee. I think Rodgers play kept Thompson safe for 1 more year. The pressure is there but I don't think Thompson will cave. If he doesn't get terminated this year he had better have a great draft, not trade down and sign some impact FA's or he's toast next year. The OL, DL, LB's are all his doing.

Watch the Ravens play defense - that's what I want! They're brutal and intense. I want teams to fear playing against our D. That means drafting players that would be spending their lives in a Super Max if they didn't play in the NFL. Tame them just enough to not be a PR problem, feed them raw meet and don't allow them to have sex during the football season. Take 2 15 yard roughing penalties per game just to set the tone and MAKE THEM COUNT! Destroy a receiver over the middle and take that 1 extra step AND WAX the QB - both early in the game. ALWAYS get the last shove in after the whistle.

TT may or may not be fired, but Favre did manage to get Eric Mangini fired this morning.
