You still have not answered my questions... not that I am surprise you don't want to admit Brinker has to sit and wait for the call date for his "refund" of the principal plus interest.

If Brinker had recommended selling his CA GO bonds last year when I sold mine... before the credit meltdown... he'd have gotten out near par and been able to invest in 5-yr CDs paying 5%.

Now he has to wait for the call date as interest rates plunge to reinvest the money at far less attractive terms than when he gave the advice to buy them.

So, are you going to answer my question about how did you know what Brinker was thinking?

My other questions you've neglected to answer:
Are you going to tell us what the call dates are for his GO bonds? I'm guessing some time in 2009... if Jan/Feb... he's not making much and will have to reinvest at very unattractive rates since the bonds were called... a RISK of these he neglected to mention when he recommended them on the radio last year.

See my previous note. I have covered this ground already and see no reason to go over it again.

The Quack's words speak for themselves. He covered his backside because he now sees that California might indeed be headed for disaster.

He has always praised that rino-arnie schwarzenkennedy, and even now, gives him a pass. The Quack envisions himself traveling in the circles of America's Royalty. Some of his favorites are Buffett, Gates, and Bloomberg -- and the Kennedys.

It seems to me that the main problem with what Brinker is quoted as saying is that what he owns personally is totally irrelevant to the woman's question. Some pros and cons of different possible approaches to HER situation, and the factors to consider, would be much more useful even if he didn't end up with a definite recommendation.
