Sr K, I assume you live in a foreign country and do not understand US customs.

Your obsession with the Professor stuff is a little bit weird for an American.

Q:How long is the usual lag between Sitka sending a letter to its clients and posting it on the website? The latest letter is the August 2008, for July.

A:We are very lagging on posting newsletters online. On purpose. However if you subscribe (it's free) we email you a copy on about a 2-4 week delay as compared to clients.

sitkapacific.com

"Recent client letters are linked below on a 2-month delayed basis. To receive client letters as they come out in your inbox free every month, submit your email address at the bottom of this page."

I see we have not updated that for longer than 2 months, but clearly it is not a priority. I will mention it to my partner, the founder of Sitka Pacific.

If you are interested in our newsletters, I recommend you subscribe. We do not sell or give out names.

Q:And, you are a contributing "professor" on Minyanville, indicating by the quotes that you are probably not a current professor at a college or similar institution.

Is "professor" a title or level within Minyanville? Are any of those "professors" currently professors at accredited colleges or universities?

Why do you put professor in quotes on your About page, but in your post today you just call Fil Zucchi a professor?

A:Professor is an honorary title, and that is widely understood. Here is the complete list
minyanville.com

Q:And, you refer to Fil Zucchi's buzz, but all I could find was his column "Crunch Time" stamped today at 10:07 am, with a reference to reverse migration in the 3rd to last bullet.

May I have a link to the piece with the portion you excerpted?

A:Except for a lead sentence unrelated to what followed, I posted the entirety of Fil Zucchi's Comment. I could send you a link but it would not do you any good. The comment was on "Buzz and Banter" a subscription only service. I did the best I could by citing Minyanville.

Zucchi Profile:

"Fil Zucchi is the founder and manager of Zebra Investment Advisors LLC, a Virginia registered investment advisor, and Zebra Fund, LLC, a long/short hedge fund. Before founding the Zebra companies, Zucchi managed individual long/short accounts. Prior to that, he was a bankruptcy and commercial litigation attorney in a Washington, D.C. law firm. Zucchi is also currently involved in his family’s commercial real estate development and management operations.

Zucchi has a bachelor's degree in economics from Georgetown University (1985) and a law degree from the Catholic University School of Law (1988)."

My favorite "professors" are Sedacca, Depew, Succo, Mr. Practical, and Zucchi.

Here is a list.
minyanville.com

The above snip on Zucchi was obtained by clicking on his name (the last one) in the above link.

There is one person on the list who is not a professor and that is Minyan Peter. His posts always merit a read.
