You'll do fine...........piece of cake. Think good thoughts that take you far away from where you are and the next thing you know you'll wake up glad you did what you did.

And it sounds like you are in very good hands.

Thank you Karen,

Had diner with our gastroentologist last evening and I asked him if I could drive and he gave me some motions at the dinner table and I did them and he said "You can drive". Will wait to do that that another week and try it. I still have to go to my Wednesday bowling group and give them their Christmas presents.

Looks like now my recovery will be long and I may not get to go back to bowling until February or March. I dislike that as I really need to have that exercise.

Hope the shot works and you get that behind you and it helps. I am thinking of going to a chiropractor if this pain does not stop and hope it works for me. I am just scared of them 'cause I have only gone to one years ago. He did not tell me he was going so snap my neck until afterward and I asked if he was trying to break my neck. I paid his bill and went back to my car in worst pain than before. On second thought, I may just think on that for awhile....

Thank you so much for your prayers Karen. My doctor thinks it is torn muscles and it will take some time for me to get back to normal. I am doing so much better today.

We sat down for a beautiful dinner last night. Our 90 year old friend was quite active and we enjoyed his toasts to all and to his wife. My doctor sat across from us and I was still having some terrific back pains and he suggested I try another medication. We left early and came home and I took my regular medication and the one he suggested and I fell asleep immediately and slept like a rock and woke up at noon today with no pains at all. Took medications again and no pains this morning. Have been able to sit at my computer longer this morning. I am beginning to think I should stay still longer and bed rest will help me the most. My pains seem to subside when I am in bed. This is really the pits for me as I am so active otherwise. I WILL conquer this.

Good luck with your procedure tomorrow. I think staying positive is very important. Just keep repeating, "They can't keep a good girl down" until it's over and they can't.
