8 year old chicks are over the hill. <VBG> How can the Muslims claim that they are the only pure religion when they allow that sort of crap to take place?

We are not in a depression. Yet. I am just anticipating it. When we get over 10% unemployment, then we've got problems. In the Great Depression, we hit 24.9% unemployment as Hoover left office. FDR's policies took the number down to 10% by 1937, only to hear the GOP lie and say his policies had done no good because the stock market hadn't recovered fully. That shows their opinion of working Americans: You guys don't matter. Only our buddies on Wall Street matter. Sort of sounds like the current Paulsen bailout.

If we can regain confidence, we can avoid a depression. Will somebody besides Bill Gross buy some BBB bonds? I think they will, but with the Treasury's borrowing needs, it may take longer than we have before the backbone of our industry says they can't finance new plants or innovation.
