I get the same response from people.....they think, " This is the US and nothing like that can happen here.. Get off the doom and gloom because you are causing the problem."

Let's certainly hope it doesn't get that bad, but to deny the possibility is potentially a fatal mistake.

Your husband seems solid in skill sets needed for a disaster scenario. My husband can't pound a nail into the wall but he's a deal maker and an excellent salesman.

Preparation won't hurt any of us.

Where do you gals live? Sounds like it's end of the world there.

People in New England still party like it's 1999, althought the economy is often talked about in conversations.
