Well, I realize its not a very popular opinion - but a lot of the problems we've been discussing have been building for decades. We've had more than 50 years of inflation. We may be entering a cycle of controlled deflation, something like the opposite of targeted inflation. Do I believe that? Not necessarily. I don't expect anyone else to either. We've seen lots of scornful posts, and withering criticism. IMO it's more important to understand - or at least, try. Jim
