I dont disagree with much of what you say. There is room for many opinions. Its the vitriol and racism i object to. Several years ago i got kicked off a bigoted anti-arab thread for saying much the same thing. I fought the kahanists here in NY in my youth. I am an unreconstructed bleeding heart who has to force himself to impose discipline on my pacifism based on a country's right of self defense whether israel or the US or any other nation for that matter.
We dont fight when we chat because we agree on most of this. I am not happy when anyone is killed unlike chris.

For reasons that are understandable, Israel always wants the maximum benefit for themselves. But, when we need for them to do something, we have to drag them, kicking and screaming to the table. Then, shortly afterward, they vote in an administration that reverses whatever they agreed to do. Either explicitly or through neglect.

Ever done any business with Israel?
Pretty much the same story.
