For every sale there has been a buyer as well as a seller ! I dont know which side represents "silliness", but I can guess.

trx.v - Mt Milligan will produce two thirds copper by value, one third gold approximately, according to the fease numbers and metals prices as of mid-'08, so i don't know if it needs any more problems than that, as no one has wanted anything to do with base metals for so long now

The time will come, and Goldcorp continues to show support, just wants to delay it that's all ... permitting will sure be easy, the interior of BC has been absolutely devastated in industry and employment, could use just about anything real quick

Somehow i can't see PMs stocks doing much without the BMs, Claude ... maybe one with a little lead over the other from time to time, but they will do significant moves more or less together, imho, especially when they are both factors in such companies as trx.v, ngd.to, fcx, etc ... seems like in a full-blown disaster scenario you need guns and ammo, dried food, and survival skills, and there won't be time to concern ourselves with mining anything ... the nicely building metals price charts that lead to mine financing come in the upswing of rising expectations, not the downside doomster picture

Silver especially, i bet it comes back more or less with zinc like three or four years ago, which will really crank a lot of the beat-up mexican plays ... as to when, who knows, could be next month or years from now for all i know, but it will happen

< Yes I think I know this one. Something possibly wrong at Mt. Milligan, but what? Low grade? High Capital cost? >

Not that anyone up here is saying evan our government MLA is high lighting the project.....

“The key one we’re looking at is Mount Milligan. I think it’s a big one for us... and if we can get into construction by late 2009 or early 2010 that would be very good for us. A lot of that will come down to companies like Terrane (Metal’s) ability to finance them. (But) Mount Milligan is a very bankable project"
