I was up to 222 this a.m.--worst 2 weeks in quite awhile. Gained 3 lbs during the holiday week. Had a great workout tonight but some struggle to push away from the sweets after the holiday feasts. By tomorrow I will be back on track.

228.3. I am up again. This time 3.5 pounds in one week. After gaining 2.5 last week. The last time I weighed this much was on Nov 17th, seven weeks ago. The only thing I can figure for this six pound gain is that it's a water difference. I must have been dehydrated two weeks ago. It's probable, because I was suffering some diarrhea then.

But I am really going to bear down on the details. Looking at the box of dehydrated skim milk I replaced today, I see that each cup of the reconstituted milk contains 12 grams of sugar. Just under three teaspoonfuls. I knew I was getting sugar from the non-fat yogurt I was using, but not the milk. Just overlooked it. I should have figured those smoothies tasted too good.

They will now be watered down to half the milk. With no yogurt. No more ham and eggs. I will rotate my four meals of oatmeal, lamb stew, pease porridge and chili. That's it.
