You're just hyperventilating because you accept right wing talking points at face value. You are so easily influenced.

Obama's position regarding energy is to make polluters like coal pay their own way using a carbon tax. That would influence the FREE MARKET LOL to find better alternatives because the cost of polluting the air and causing catastrophic global climate change makes alternatives much more appealing.

You think a policy like this one would have helped the domestic auto industry hold on to more of its market share during the last generation? Instead of fighting against fuel standards, Detroit could have been meeting them and not promoting the sale of huge trucks (big discounts on those BTW LOL) and SUVs. Detroit could have kept more marketshare, streamlined its operations so it can make a profit on small cars and been part of the solution than the big problem.

Why do you think coal and other polluting industries should get a freebie on their costs? Why do you think the public should subsidize their businesses? Why don't you ask those people in Tennessee about arsenic in their drinking water and sludge in their yards? I'll bet they will want to pony up money to subsidize the cost of coal burning power plants.

Obama SPECIFICALLY outlined a system wherein the FREE MARKET LOL gets to pick and choose winners instead of having the government do so. Instead of dealing 'ideologically' with coal, he wants to make the real costs visible and real so that the FREE MARKET LOL gets to pick and choose.

What in the world do you have against FREE MARKETS LOL?

Republikans are such socialists. You really don't understand what he is saying do you. That's just sad.
