Actually a friend has a friend in IDF and was told that Hamas encouraged civilians to go to the UN school as a safe spot and then deliberately lured israelis into combat, knowing the result. It was a setup using gazan innocents for PR purposes. I have no proof and this is second hand info but it comes from someone who is reliable, more sympathetic to the Pals and firmly believes this account.

If Israel doesn't take out Hamas now, then Israel's days are numbered. Which would bring in the U.S., because there are a LOT of Christians in this country that wouldn't like to see Israel disappear....at least not until Christ is ready for his second act.
