The reason why the freedoms, liberties, and rights that many have willing surrendered... and you and I have had stolen and confiscated from us without our consent, (under the name of the "War on Terror") is so insidiously dangerous... is because the technology that exists and is in use today is unimaginable. And it's being used against us, and to restrict us, not to enhance our lives, our economy, or our safety. Our borders remain open to drugs and illegals, while you and I become prisoners in our own country turned police state. I won't even bother to share what else is out there every single day, because most wouldn't believe it, even if shown documents on government web sites, and videos like the FOX piece on cell phones. Isn't the Patriot Act a wondeful thing? Wouldn't Jefferson, Hamilton, and Jackson be proud? And of course, the response from the sheeple of the prozac generation will be this... "Well, the average person has nothing to worry about, or hide, right?" And my answer would be ... that's exactly what they said in Nazi Germany, and in Stalin's Russia. And you are right, there is probably no reason for the average person to worry (for now), as long as they continue to walk through life with their head down, compliant, and with their mouth shut... as the financial system gets looted by politicians and the bankster-gangster's... As their jobs get outsourced by multi-national corporations, as their public resources like toll roads, ports, and water systems get stolen by politicians, and transfered to foreign interests. As their 401K's get halved, as exploding deficits steal their children's future, and destroy their retirement as the promise of social security, medicaid, and pensions is broken by the collapse of the bankster-gangster derivative debt bomb. And as long as you don't mind getting patted down, or ramdomly stripped searched because you wanted to fly your red headed, freckled face family to Disney World... And as long as you don't mind Martin Marietta camera's at every intersection and giving you electronic traffic tickets to help pay for the interest on the bankster-gangster's looting... And as long as you don't mind living in a Police State with The Habeas Corpus Act routinely violated by joint task force random check points, where you must have "your papers checked"... And as long as you don't mind having your gold & your guns confiscated, and your God & your Religion ridiculed and/or outlawed by the state... And as long as you don't mind having what used to be free speech, and freedom of assembly, suddenly classified as "terrorism" under the Patriot Act (did you noticed the paramilitary seige mentality of the last Democratic and Republican National Conventions?) because you dared make a blog post, write a letter to the editor of your local newspaper, or show up for a peaceful public demonstration for any of the above, or, otherwise criticize your government... Then of course, you have nothing to worry about -- "for now." S.O.T.B.
