The average Palestinian has been used as a PAWN for the last 60 years, and it hasn't been by Israel. So long as you believe the above, there is no point to a discussion. You need to read the history of Palestine starting from 1897 to the present. If not not like pawns, Israel has treated Palestinians as if they were their personal property.

"It WASN'T like the Palestinians ever had a chance for FREE elections. " I think both Condi AND Jimmy Carter agreed that the Pal elections were on the up and up. Neither of them thought that Gaza would elect Hamas. How shocked Condi was that the Gazans DEMOCRATICALLY elected Hamas! Certainly made her the moron. Kind of put the entire question of Arab free elections to the question, as to their desirability. What if we had them in Egypt and they elected the Muslim Brotherhood?
