I found it very telling that in the ex-president photo op, obama hung out between the two bushes and away from the amoral clinton and even further away from the fanatical carter. I do believe there was excess in achieving the results in homeland security but the accomplishments there will be recognized by future historians and not just wingnut historians either. In Day to day operations, PR, and with many decisions, this admin was awful, but we did withstand 9/11 and controlled domestic terrorism and that will get recognized. Also the outcomes in the mideast and south asia are ytbd from an american perspective, a perspective which a turncoat like you would have little interest in.
