You missed a couple of important items in your rush to be contrary.

1) I said

"There is only a couple of ways to conquer a land and resettle it. One is complete or nearly complete genocide, the other is to subdue a people and subject them to your rule ..."

You said the third is to imprison and control their movements. Check the bolded words. And you call me a nitpicker... In the case of the Pals, I believe my statement would more accurately reflect Israeli intent. In any event, it hasn't worked out, obviously.

2) I answered the kill kids question. It is one where context makes a difference. Evil is by intent.

"Which is more evil....the call to kill kids or the actual killing of them?"

Directing forces who's actions are subject to your words, to kill kids, is evil. Supporting such an action is equally evil. Children being killed by the circumstances I described, although tragic and regrettable, is not evil except maybe to the extent that we consciously choose to sit idly by when we could do more to prevent it.

"The death of innocent children happens every day under all kinds of unfortunate circumstance, some avoidable some not. I accept what is but don't always feel good about it. Much of the death of children whether from accidents, starvation, treatable disease, collateral damage, etc is avoidable and it is regrettable that we don't do more to protect them and keep them from harms way. "

I have no problem protesting Israeli zeal and excess while condemning the actions and words of terrorists ... both are bad and there are no good options for the people who are choosing to engage in this conflict. Should the Pals allow themselves to be subject to Israeli rule after being removed from their land and livelyhood? I wouldn't if I were them. Should the Israelis allow themselves to be run into the see by angry Pals and their supporters? I wouldn't if I were them. What good options are left? I see none unless you've got a Messiah in your pocket or something. Since you don't believe in such things, you've got nothing either except picking a side for self serving political convenience. Personally, I think that is stupid but almost everyone does it so why should you be an exception.
