That said, I think there's a significant difference between Waco and the Patriot Act...not to mention extraordinary rendition, waterboarding, Abu Graib, etc.

I just can't believe a leader can so negatively affect the lives of so many people unless that was his intent. And I don't think Gore would have gone so far. BWTFDIK?

The Clinton years were bad.

Yes, the unemployment rate was the lowest it had been in 30-40 years, a war was started and successfully completed with our allies in the Balkans, we had balanced budgets and the growth of the deficit had slowed dramatically, more people were getting off welfare and going to work, FEMA worked, the stock market was booming, and the world pretty much liked us. The 90s were a real Greek tragedy......NOT. Which brings to mind the question..........where the hell were you during the '90s? In Russia during its collapse?
