Important thing is that my older daughter drinks it, and gets a bit extra protein this way.

It's good that she's getting protein.

But the last thing anyone on a low-carb diet needs is a protein supplement, I would think. I'm more concerned about getting too much. Maybe it's a better choice than sugar-laden powdered milk for adding richness, but then maybe not.
