NO, the change occurred around 2004 when the Muslim World became more aware of our vulnerabilities.

After 9/11, especially after we went into Afghanistan and made quick work of the Taliban the "Muslim World" was ready and willing to hold discussions and establish new and less threatening relationships. Iran tried to hold talks with us, but Bush just blew them off.

MORON Bush then threw away all the World's empathy by charging into Iraq. After seeing us in Iraq for a year the rest of the Middle East lost respect for us and decided they should follow the path of N. Korea in playing us for fools.

It WORKED!!!
