My wind mill / wind farm friends are ecstatic I'm sure. Before this they had to do almost all their projects in places like Holland and Germany because those are the only places where people are willing to pay so much for "free" energy!

I think it's funny that he chose a fastener company for today's press fest. Since my husband runs large construction projects and he buys from fastener companies constantly, we have a lot of promotional items around the house from the various companies vying for his business.

One of my favorites is an over sized tee shirt with a large illustration of a wood screw.

Their tag line reads:

We won't {insert image of screw} you!

Just a little fastener humor.

Earlier, wearing clear protective glasses with his dark business suit, Obama stopped at several work stations on his tour to watch people demonstrate the various steps to manufacturing the large screws and bolts used to hold wind turbines together.

Maybe it's just me, and I haven't seen the financials on these windmill farms and how long it takes to recoup investment, but this stinks to high heaven like another domestic ethanol industry.
