Things are as well as can be expected at Patrick's site , Honey_bee .

Tell my friend Chgo that my water pipes at my Anchorage condo survived the recent cold snap here in Anchorage where offical temperatures got to minus - 20 below zero while it was over minus - 50 below zero in Fairbanks . By the way , it's presently been over 40 above zero the last couple of days here in Anchorage but our usual cold weather is expected to return next week .

I definitely agree with Chgo about HSAs and presently have almost $22k invested in a family taxfree HSA for the wife and I and have just completed opening a seperate individual HSA for my wife earlier this month for $4k as I will go on Medicare later this calendar year of 2009 and won't be able to continue to contribute to a HSA for myself at that time . All of these contributions are a deduction on each year's tax return and are not only beneficial for the taxree use for medical expenses but also the tax deduction too .

Give my best to your Aunt too .
