Allancoleman, Having been born, raised and lived all of my life right here on the left coast, I have no way of relating to temperatures that you experience in Alaska -- or even in Chicago, for that matter. I have traveled extensively in Norway but certainly not during winter weather. And when I visited Alaska, it was absolutely perfect weather -- hardly had to wear a sweater. MOF: in Juneau, I wore a pair of shorts that I had fortunately packed for the trip. (California-women don't go anywhere without a pair of shorts.) LOL! Here in Santa Cruz right now, we are having days that get into the mid-70's. I'm not bragging, I'm complaining, because we desperately need rain. You said: "Give my best to your Aunt too ." I sure will. Aunt Tillie says she has a lot more old sayings in her repertoire if you are ever in need of one. 8-) .
