You should hope and pray that Obama doesn't borrow an idea from Canada to extend this failed idea-"super depletion" where you can deduct, depending on the program, 120% to 140% of every dollar invested, which often results in a tax refund. In this way, the gov't still gets some leverage for every dollar they invest, even if it doesn't make any economic sense, and alot of money and effort continues to be over invested in alternative energy like wind and solar power.

This coming from the same guy who loves the fact that we subsidize oil so heavily. It's ludicrously hypocritical of you to deride incentives for alternative energy when you support all the incentives for oil. Just plain hypocritical.
