My wife asked me what we would have done after landing in the river and I told her get dry clothes and the next flight back home. She said you would really get back on another plane and I said why not, the odds of it happening to you once in your life are infinitesimal, the odds of something happening to you twice would be unmeasurable.

i remember in college , my 18 yr girl always cried when i would fly. she didnt want me to get on the plane

i think the main story that affected me about TWA 800 was a gal that had picked raspberries to earn money for the trip. her dad had commented that most days her hands were colored with raspberry all over them. i think to this day, her father still looking for the reason the flight went down.
