Well the Book according to Kenneth is that when it is bad it is the fault of those other than Democrats. When things are good, it is a direct result of Democrats. He is a phoney and we all know it.

I do not think that Presidents affect the market that much, except in unusual caes. To the extent that they do it is less by what they say and more by what they do. So far I don't think obama is approaching the problem much differently than bush so I think the downward move is in the cards. It will take bold, gutsy action against the advice of the powers that be to fix this mess and it cant be done without pain.
