imo, the 'easy' solution is inflation of money, and all officialdom actions must be geared for the easy way out while disguising the nature of the way, and hide the collateral damage of the solution.

the calling to duty of volcker is part of the hideous exercise.

Volcker is there to 'undo Ronald Reagan's legacy'. He was there early 81.

We have today the reverse of all and that's why I am confident the outcome will be good for Brazil.

Note that the debt crisi and the subsequent 'Lost decade' started by Volcker jacking up interest rates to double digits. Now it is the Great Unwinding things reassert themselves.
