I went online in Nov and requested a gvt coupon to use in the purchase of a digital to analog conversion box (have 1 TV location not set up for cable). I never received either the coupon or any further communication.

Presumably others have had the same experience and either have no conversion box or have sprung for the full cost of the box (unlikely with gvt promising them a coupon). So now we find that the gvt ran out of funds and simply, quietly stopped shippiing boxes even as the applicants waited patiently for their boxes.

Obama ... time for America to "put away childish things..."

'Victimhood' and 'childishness' must go. The slow motion transition to digital TV is silly silly silly.

I am no fan of Obama, but hopefully he meant what he said in the inagural. And hopefully the electioneering was, "just words" and hyperbole.

It would be an extraordinary thing if Democratic politicians and policies began with the PRESUMPTION that all Americans with the capacity are treated as RESPONSIBLE ADULTS, not as children needing government to act as their nanny.
