That is going to be the attitude that differentiates us from the other party

I want to be viewed above the fray - it's time for proposals and solutions! We can do better as a government so let it start with our party!

I'm with you and Gloop.

We can only control our own behavior, and if we didn't like what was issued to President Bush we should refrain from doing similar things to President Obama. Perhaps if there are enough of us, we can do better things.

I think you have to ask yourself "fail at what?"

Obviously, we are stuck with Obama so we want him to be a strong President in foreign relations and security. We want him to support the military. We want him to protect us.

But do we want him to pander to his base and go on a drunken spending spree? That's what his party wants to do.

So, I hope he *fails* in the spending area. That's where I want to see some major league gridlock. Unfortunately, we have neither the spines nor the votes to accomplish that.

I want conservatives to prove they are adults and not be constantly sniping and hoping and praying for his failure as we've spent the last 8 years watching the liberals do.

I am committed to be just as supportive of Obama as democrats were of President Bush 43.
