Yes, I remembered afterwards and posted such to anchan. Yukio Mishima (I read him when I was very young). He was a very extreme right wing Shinto type guy who ended up committing sepuku I think.

Have you read Musashi? I thought Musashi was a much better book than what I had read of Mishima.

I guess I just like my great writers to be more like Doestoyevsky, Plato, Tolstoy, Herman Hesses, Camus, Thomas Mann and George Bernard Shaw i.e. to write a philosophy that seems sophisticated and forward thinking.

What I read of Mishama I did not consider to be very wise? Totally subjective I know-lol.

So I am guessing, Yukio may have had talents I just couldn't see. Obviously you and the nobel committee disagree with me-lol.
