You know what is really odd? I bought the bottom of the SPX within an hour or two with 50 calls and wigged out when it pulled back and went back to shorting the market. I shudder to think what I would have had if I had just shut the puter off and walked away.

No, I don't shudder. I've figured it out, close to 4 million if I had held till they expired. So I guess in essence I turned 4 million into zero.

I console myself to this fact to this day, if I had hit that home run I still would have lost it all because I was gambling and letting it all ride. Sure recipe for disaster, just a matter of when.

Now I confine my gambling to blackjack:) you were craps if I remember. Do you play anymore?
